Did you know that our town name was founded at the original 1767 Paoli Inn?
To commemorate this, the Paoli Business & Professional Association has placed a marker on the original site, adjacent to the Paoli Plaza at the Paoli Village Shoppes and the Paoli Train Bridge.
The ceremony, held on Thursday, May 16, included a Parade of Colors by Revolutionary Reenactors, an Invocation by Paoli Hospital Chaplain Reverend Barbara Emery, and Historic Reflections on Tredyffrin Township by Supervisor Murph Wysocki and PA State Senator Andy Dinniman.
The celebration culminated in the Historical Marker Unveiling and Dedication. Afterward, light refreshments were served.
For those of you who missed this wonderful celebration, it is available on video and well worth the watching!
